With the hype of video game Mass Effect: Andromeda releasing soon, a comic series announced by EA set in the universe of the games called Mass Effect: Discovery will be releasing shortly before the game. Dark Horse comics will be developing the new Mass Effect: Discovery comic that will release April 12th 2017 and has given a short synopsis on what to expect in the series: “A young Turian military recruit goes undercover in order to infiltrate the mysterious Andromeda Initiative—and ultimately retrieve a scientist who’s made a potentially devastating discovery.” The first hand full of issues will be written by Jeremy Barlow (known for Star Wars Adventures, Mass Effect Library Edition), and have artwork done by Gabriel Guzman (known for Armory Wars). The video game Mass Effect: Andromeda will be released by EA March 21st on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
