Paramount Pictures has finally released a full-length trailer for the upcoming Scarlett Johansson starred Ghost in the Shell allowing us to get a really good idea about how will this movie look like, and what it is all about. Ghost in the Shell is based on the famous Kodansha Comics manga series of the same name which was written and illustrated by Masamune Shirow. It stars Scarlett Johansson and is directed by Rupert Sanders, produced by Avi Arad, Ari Arad and Steven Paul. The film has Michael Costigan, Tetsu Fujimura and Mitsuhisa Ishikawa as executive producers. It is worth noting how their animation studio Production I.G produced the Japanese Ghost in the Shell film and television series. Ghost in the Shell follows the Major, a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology. Ghost in the Shell is set to premiere on March 31, 2017.
