In 2005, awesome all-ages gaming took a spectacular turn for the better with the release of LEGO Star Wars. To that point, Star Wars video games had a rather spotty history, and a video game based on building blocks might have seemed ridiculous. (It’s also worth adding that this was around the time when the final prequel movie continued to disappoint fans.) Fast forward to 2016, and we’ve enjoyed a new “greatest hits” relaunch of the Star Wars movies, with years more in development. And TT Games, who hit it big back in 2005 have continued to grow through the most consistently excellent gaming series, leading to the brand new installment, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
