Square Enix Japan unleashed a new website earlier today featuring a mysterious photo behind numbers “1.17.” The website is tagged as “ff_ATB” and slightly puzzling as the site serves as nothing more than a teaser, presumably for a Final Fantasy title. The trademark watchers at HardcoreGamer surmised that the title references the name All The Bravest, a Square Enix filing from last year. Neoseeker notes this assertion is likely accurate after taking a brief look at the page source code, which included an iTunes listing under the same name.
The fact that these mysterious characters are masked as silhouettes does not prevent avid Final Fantasy fans from quickly identifying Final Fantasy VI's iconic Behemoth, but the fact remains that the other characters are much less distinguishable. Unfortunately Square Enix only released the teaser website out of Japan, so that may pose a potential delay (or complete absence) in English localization.
