Gameplanet is in Shanghai as 32 of the world’s best StarCraft II players convene in China this weekend to compete for their respective countries and a total prize pool of USD $500,000 in the Battle.net World Championship.
The Battle.net World Championship marks the culmination of the StarCraft II World Championship Series, which has been running throughout the year. 30 countries and over 600 pro players partook in the series. Andrew ‘mOOnGLaDe’ Pender, and Tim ‘MaFia’ He will represent Australia after winning the National and Oceania stages of the Championship Series, held in Sydney this August.
The sold-out event will be held over Saturday and Sunday, and a free livestream of will be broadcast from 1pm, Saturday the 17th of November, and 12.30pm, Sunday the 18th of November.
