2K Games sent us some interesting information regarding The Bureau: XCOM Declassified. They haven't spelled it all out for us, so we're putting on our fedoras and doing our best impression of protagonist William Carter.

2K Games has told us that tomorrow the first of a series of live action vignettes based on the original Burn Room trailer will be revealed. These came about expressly due to overwhelming fan feedback to the original live action trailer. (Later today we'll be posting a list of easter eggs found throughout this trailer. How many can you see without help?)

The image of Orbit the Clown above is just a tease of what's to come. You might notice that he's got a marionette friend. Its name is Morse the Martian, and if you have room for a little grey puppet in your life, he's up for auction on eBay right now (but you'd best hurry, as time is running out). Proceeds will be donated to charity.

His name (Morse) is interesting, isn't it? It just so happens that in addition to the picture of Orbit and Morse, 2K sent along a sound clip that sounds like a coded transmission.

They also delivered a number of lighters that bear the words "Eradite Verum" (that's Latin for "Erase Truth"). We've been told that in addition to bearing a phrase echoed often in regards to The Bureau, that this particular item may have additional significance in the days ahead.
