Getting started with Lose It! is easy. Simply download the app, tell us a little about yourself and your weight loss goal, and we’ll create a custom weight loss plan for you. Then simply start logging your food and exercise!

What’s New in Version 5.0

1) iOS7
We’ve overhauled the user experience to bring the best in Lose It! to iOS7. This starts with a lighter, cleaner look and feel, but extends throughout the experience of using Lose It!. Users on iOS 6.x and earlier will continue to have the traditional Lose It! experience until they upgrade their devices to iOS7.

2) iPad Support
Lose It! is now a universal application with a first class experience on the iPad. Lose It! on the iPad includes every feature from Lose It! that you know and love with a full screen, dedicated iPad experience. It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally here and we’re thrilled!

3) iPhone 5s Step Bonus (Premium Only)
For our users with an iPhone 5s, Lose It! helps you set a daily personalized steps goal, tracks your progress towards that goal, and gives you bonus calories when you are active enough. You can see your progress towards your step bonus on the My Day screen as well in the Log view.

4) Improved Goals
We’ve improved our Goals view to make it even easier for you to know where you stand. This includes the ability to view your goal chart over different time intervals, as well as a newly improved presentation of your current status and how close you are to achieving your goal.

5) Notes (Premium Only)
Add notes to your daily log to help you keep track of information and context about the day. Want to note your mood, important event, or breakthrough for a specific day. Just write a note and we’ll keep it in your log for posterity!

6) Life Fitness Support
We’ve added the ability to connect Lose It! directly to the next generation of Life Fitness equipment (The Life Fitness discovery series of treadmills, elliptical machines, and bikes). Simply plug in your iPhone or iPad when you start your workout, and Lose It! will keep track of your calories burned, show you the day’s overall budget, and even automatically log your workout when you’re finished.

7) As always, we’ve made the Lose It! you know and love better by fixing a handful of issues and fine tuning a number of other things.
