Decay came to the rescue last week and posted a great VNTS entry without hearing from me or being asked. You are the best, sir — thank you for all you do. I doubt our readers realize how much effort and time goes into these posts, but I do!
So… where was I? Unfortunately, at the time I was cut off from power, water, internet, and telephone service. See, I was actually on the small island of Dominica doing research (getting it in before the summer ends and I have to go back home for school) when Tropical Storm Erika swooped in and decimated parts of the island. I and my loved ones (and cats) are safe, but we got very lucky. This image (taken from here), isn’t too far from where I live:
The island seems to be pulling itself together and several governments have pledged aid, but as with any natural disaster, contributions/mentions on social media/thoughts for the post-storm relief are appreciated.

Hoka no Onna no Ko to H wo Shiteiru Ore wo Mite Koufun Suru Kanojo – Aaaaaagh! Can somebody PLEASE tell me what I should shorten this one to!?!? Decay added this one last week — it’s a one-man TL project which is almost half done with the game. I added it to VNTL-Moon tonight. As far as progress goes, it got a bit of a TL bump and now sits at 48.03% complete (including TL and editing)
Immoral Little (NSFW) – Tiny Lily’s new project is now up on VNTL-Moon.
Kimi ga Nozomu Eien – Alternative Projects picks up the cursed one! Well, if anyone can do it, it’s them. Good luck! Decay added this to the list last week, I’m just letting you know that I added it to VNTL-Moon on 9/4.

「First reaction upon gazing at post: wait, our header pic has a text bar now? It’ll take some time for me to get used to this change *shivers*.
Nice to see the konosora re-tl move forward… wait a second, common route wasn’t re-translated but routes were? I recall pabloc saying he started with a more TLC approach; him doing that for common and switching to full re-translation later would explain it. RIP their blog, by the way.
On the JAST side, both Seinarukana and Shiny Days are, or at least were, slated for a September release. If my professional JAST-senses are correct, Shiny Days probably will be out within the month. As for Seinarukana, since this is JAST and I haven’t heard anything about it recently it is of course entirely possible that they actually meant it would be out in September next year. But it’s probably just delayed as per the usual.
Looking at the Sekai side, it looks like G-Senjou might not release this Summer after all – we’ve heard nothing about it, and, well, we’re almost into the next quarter. They seemed fairly optimistic about the title, and it’s a p. great one (obligatory link to trigger those who have read it), so I’m sad if it got delayed. Oh, and don’t click that if you haven’t read it. It’s like, a meta feels spoiler.
The Watanagashi (second) chapter of Higurashi re-translation might be out decently soon since it’s at 85% edited. I wonder if they’ll still use “kyute” or switch over to “adowable” or something, one of my friends was somewhat annoyed at the choice. Probably not…
Himawari is at 85% edited as well. Actually, with Himawari, the all-ages Sonohana (whoo, preorders), and Yuri Ghosts, MG will be putting quite a lot of stuff on Steam. It’s interesting to say the least. Most interesting is the third; Kindred Spirits actually has h-scenes, though no genitalia – and thus mosaics – are to be seen (this is a Liar-Soft thing) and they are reportedly rather tame. The muggle media, tragicomically, has had a field day reporting on the new sex game coming to Steam. The Kotaku comments were occasionally rather funny; enjoy some forum like-bait.
Also, do we really need a whole empty section for Decay’s musings when he’s not doing it? I’m going to have to talk to Tay about this. Criminal. Also, the post is dated in the proper order; I’m not going to have you change to some American abomination in the body text unless it’s in your actual thoughts section.
And try to get a bit luckier somehow, please. I don’t care how you do it, putting your cats at that level of danger is just terrible, nya.」

TAYsteful™ Thoughts
Well, let’s get a few things out of the way: some of you were bugged that I mis-labeled Sierra Ops as released and had the wrong data for Monster Girl Quest Paradox. Thank you for pointing this out! I really do try and read the previous week’s comments when I sit down to write a VNTS post, but somehow I never quite got the memo. Follow-up-memo to readers from Sekai: you need to re-label the Sierra Ops line in your Release Calendar. It’s listed as “released” there, and that’s where I got screwed up.
Responding to “anon” from last week as regards adding “released” games to the front site: yes, absolutely, all of them will make it onto the front site. Nay is finishing up some code for compatibility between databases on the beta site and current (kinda outdated) site. Once that’s done I can start entering those games (and many, many more) without worry that all the work will be wasted and/or deleted.
