Hey Folks,
So had myself locked away in the studio for a while and haven't really put anything out of my own for quite some time. I'm working on some of my own material and this sprung at me while having a play around..
The track actually came around on the off chance. Having spent the whole weekend in the studio working on other projects I sat down to unwind, opened up Pro Tools and started playing around with the organ you hear in the intro. The chord progression came almost instantly and the lead line soon followed.
I remembered that I had an outstanding remix for Vanguard Records / SKIO Music to complete for a comp, so after pulling the vocal for Float...it fit perfectly!! I began building the rest of the track and creative flow took over. The track reflects a lot of what I've been doing lately myself as an artist/producer and leans toward the style of production I've been piecing together for my own album.
Would be great to get some feedback and gauge everyones thoughts.
