Concord – Markham Nature Park and Arboreteum, 1202 La Vista Ave., Concord. Come early for the best selection of native forbs, ornamental grasses, shrubs, perennials, and annuals.
Oakland – East Bay Wilds, 2777 Foothill Blvd., Oakland, CA 94601 (the entrance is on 28th Ave.)
Oakland – Friends of Sausal Creek Native Plant Nursery (the nearest address 3594 Sanborn Drive), (510) 325-9006. The Friends of Sausal Creek (FOSC) nursery grows natives from locally collected seeds and cuttings, primarily for use in habitat restoration projects around the Sausal Creek Watershed in Oakland. The nursery is volunteer-based, and has plants available for purchase only once a year. Available for purchase will be more than 80 species native to California; come early for best selection. The nursery is located in Joaquin Miller Park on Sanborn Drive.
