Come enjoy a free Original Glazed doughnut at just a few participating Krispy Kreme locations on April 1, 2016.
Why the free donut day? Here is their story…
Every day, guests around the world come to Krispy Kreme to enjoy the fresh, sweet-tasting doughnuts they’ve cultivated expressly for their delight. Cultivated, they say, because each year the Doughnut Harvest yields hundreds of thousands of bushels of doughnettes—each one carefully nurtured from a doughnut seedling, then individually selected by the master doughnut growers at the peak of freshness—which are then brought into their shops for final glazing or hand-decorating.
This year, on account of the unusually fair winter, the Doughnut Harvest was especially bountiful. Now, for the first time, the surplus is so great they are inviting guests everywhere to join them in celebration.
Please Note: The Doughnut Harvest is, of course, a joke (April Fools!), but the free donuts are real. As far as we could tell, here are the only Bay Area locations participating in the offer:
Daly City – 1575 Sullivan Ave. – (650) 985-5615
Union City – 32450 Dyer Street – (510) 471-6121
Fremont – 43835 Pacific Commons – (510) 445-1357

Please contact each store to confirm they’re participating before you head out. If you waste time and gas and you don’t get a free donut – well, the joke’s on you.
