The annual Luther Burbank Rose Parade & Festival is one of Sonoma County’s most time honored traditions and one of the oldest and largest events of its kind in Northern California.

In past years, the event has boasted more than 3,500 participants in parade and over 20,000 spectators. Among the parade are local school marching bands, floats built by community and service organizations, equestrian teams, and units honoring local veterans.

With a theme of Out of a Storybook, in 2015 the Luther Burbank Rose Parade & Festival would like your help in collecting new and slightly used books to help us increase literacy in our community.

2014 Parade Route: The parade will start at the same Sonoma Avenue and E Street location as last year and proceed north on E Street, turning left onto 4th Street and proceed west on 4th Street then south onto Mendocino Avenue where the parade will disband at 1st Street.

After the parade, the fun continues with the 2015 Festival in beautiful Old Courthouse Square. The Old Courthouse Square is conveniently located adjacent to the parade route. We’ll have lots of family fun activities, music and a wide variety of food booths. The Awards ceremony takes place at 2 pm so stick around, enjoy the day and see who wins a trophy.
