As is apparent, my blog focuses on bras for the fuller busted lady. However, the emails and comments that I receive from you lovely lot makes me realise that a lot of my readers are sized out of the stores and sites that I post about, and so today I’d like to share some link to fabulous smaller cupped lingerie suitable for every budget. Being of a larger cup size, I never really took stock of how it must be to be at the smaller end of the scale, desperately seeking pretty, sexy lingerie, and so here are some of my favourites that I came across.

Beautiful British brand ‘Myla Lingerie’ cater to what I would call the ‘typical’ sizes – around 32-36 B-D.

“Capturing and celebrating the power of women is at the heart of Myla’s lingerie.

Exploring fashion and its trends, then undertaking these insights with masterful craftsmanship has resulted in a super-desirable collection of undergarments.

Decadent fabrics, including pure silks and lavish laces, and investment into the perfect cut have allowed Myla’s garments to be as supportive and comfortable as they are arrestingly seductive.

The current collection includes a delicious set of forest green silk and black lace bras and knickers – some with cheeky suspenders, playful baby doll dresses and innovative underwear with unexpected edgings. The range is all at once powerful, seductive and forward thinking.

Devoted to the sensuality, beauty and brazen glamour of women, Myla has managed to capture the different sides and changing perspectives of our lives – from ‘boardroom to bedroom’.”

Their pieces make me wish I could fit into their size range – such achingly beautiful sets that make use of lace and silk. I can see their pieces being perfect as bridal lingerie as they are too perfect to be hidden!

Another beautiful London based brand is Nichole De Carle.

“Nichole de Carle London is an innovative luxury lingerie brand challenging immediate perceptions of style within the intimates market. Quintessentially British, the designer Nichole de Carle uses her rich cultural heritage as an artisan to define the brands commitments to, and love of beautifully crafted lingerie. With inspiration sourced from the worlds of art, literature and iconic architecture, Nichole de Carle London is the embodiment of design and fine craftsmanship. By using only the finest fabrics available and with an exquisite attention to detail, each piece evokes the brand’s passion for the craft by delivering intimates that exude feminine strength, beauty, seduction, wit and sophistication. Nichole de Carle launched her career within the luxury lingerie market after graduating with a First Class Honours from the world-renowned Contour Design course at De Montfort University in England. Nichole specialised in body contour and fit within lingerie, swimwear, corsetry and bridal wear; skills that later secured her positions as Alexander McQueen, Donna Karan and Pleasure State. Spurred on by McQueen’s creativity and enthusiasm for high-end design, it was her time spent at his design house that ultimately motivated her to amalgamate couture design with the intimates sector under her own label. The de Carle Huguenots are of Royal decent, gentlemen of heritage. Francois de Carle, the bloodline of Nichole de Carle, fled to England from persecution in France in 1572. Inspired by her Huguenot heritage (who were known as exceptional artisans, craftsmen and professionals of high societal positions), Nichole de Carle has developed a craft of understated elegance.

Founded in 2008, the Nichole de Carle London brand started life as a British, handcrafted and bespoke lingerie service for private clients through which she gained an international following of loyal and regular patrons. Branching out from her initial success with bespoke services, the Nichole de Carle London ready‐to‐wear lingerie collections were debuted: Onyx and Opal. Both of these collections are designed and developed in London, reinforcing the brands ethically aware stance on production and uses only the finest silks and laces for the lingerie pieces.Contributing towards the patriotic celebration of the Olympic Games coming to Great Britain, Nichole de Carle London put together an exclusive calendar for 2012 in aid of the charity Wellbeing of Women featuring some of the female athletes representing Britain in 2012 Olympics.”

Nichole De Carle also creates lingerie in a small size range – 32-36 B-D with a view to being able to make smaller and larger back sizes, however, the range stops at a D at present. I adore the fetish style of the lingerie, as it’s something that is starting to become huge, especially with the ‘underwear as outerwear’ trend.

A brand that caters for a HUGE range of sizes is Ewa Michalak.

“Ewa Michalak is a bra brand that offers the widest range of sizes on earth Bandsizes from 65 (30) to 100 (44), cupsizes from AA to LL (see the sizechart!). Any woman can find the perfect Ewa Michalak bra at affordable price, no matter how big or how small her bust is.”

I love that they use a huge range of models to show these bras off, and they don’t change their cuts and colourways too much as the sizes change.

The Gok Wan collection for Simply Be is a godsend for the larger pear shaped ladies out there. The collection comes in sizes 32-46 B-G and boasts items to smooth you out, hoist the girls up, provide strapless support and all of this in sassy retro cuts and styles.

Another fabulous brand from the UK that makes sublime retro inspired pieces is Kiss Me Deadly.

Bullet bras, longline bras, bralets… you can find them all at KMD. The sizing range is around 32-36 A-DD.

If you are after something a little more basic that look no further than Evans lingerie range.

Please note: these exact bras are currently not stocked in Evans.

They stock bras in sizes 38-50 B-H, and although I think they could be a *little* more daring, I still like that they are an option for larger women with smaller busts.

What do you think of these brands and their collections? Do you have any tips on where to shop for smaller cupped bras? Let me know in the comments.
