My brand spanking new X100T (Canada) have a problem.

Something have gone wrong or was wrong with it before and I haven't noticed it until now?

While rotating the focus ring I can hear a faint click/tick type of a sound.   It does not happen all the time and it happens randomly.   I can only re-produce it by rotating it back and forth, round and round and randomly it makes this sound which coming from a brand new camera feel like a fear sound.

Also, focus ring itself wiggles back and forth every slightly but clearly noticeable to eye and at same time it is making click/tick type of sound as well but loud enough to be captured on smartphone easily.

Experiencing this type of thing from a brand new product and from a product you love gives me a feeling of a fear, so very sad.

p.s.   Due to personal/work related things, I can not re-visit the store for a exchange service either... not that anybody in Canada have X100T in stock any ways.

This camera was one of few small initial batch of shipment this camera store was selling.    Bad first batch?  I hope not because there is no reason for anyone else to experience this from a brand new camera.

Bad luck for me I guess.

I'll be going to Fujifilm Canada location in person in few days when I get back.

*i also fired off a email to FujiFilm Canada repair service and received a reply in minutes and was told it would take 7~10 days for my type of problem... since internals are of "T" is same as "S".

Maybe I'll request a "Exchange" option for a Re-certified unit for faster return time.  I can not imagine there being any? re-certified units already? Hope not, maybe I'll get a new one. Who knows. Than again... mine is already new.  Less than 1 hour of power on time. Uggg... sad.
