We’re getting pretty good at spotting “Coming Soon” signs and noticed a new one in Pompano Beach in for 26 Degrees Brewing Company. We stopped by again the following morning and were lucky enough to run into co-owner Greg Lieberman who invited us inside for a quick pre-construction preview.

The interior of this former Beall’s Outlet Store located at 2600 East Atlantic Blvd is now completely gutted and they have a Facebook page (HERE) posting updates on their construction progress.

Greg pulled out the blueprints for the future 21,000 square foot brewery and we were impressed. Along with a 4,600 square foot tasting area would be an additional seating area inside the brewery area and gets you closer to the brewing action than any other local brewery. Only a short wall will separate you from the hundreds of gallons of brewing beer.

Future plans may also include a food delivery partnership with neighboring Flannigan’s restaurant. “This location is still owner by Jim (Flannigan) and we’re working out how we can have food ordered and delivered” said Greg.  Ideally they’ll have some type of POS that allows orders to be sent automatically to Flannigan’s.

26 Degrees Brewing Company is targeting a Summer 2015 opening date.  With their great location and beach traffic, ample parking and possible food partnership with a successful restaurant, we’re pretty sure of their success.  We’re excited about 26 Degrees Brewing Company arriving in town and will post frequent updates on their progress and opening date.
