I've decided to start a "Tuesday Takeover" post as I've been wanting to do something like this for a while, so this first instalment has to feature none other than bestie MangoWhirl!

I love reading her blog for fashion, beauty and lifestyle posts (and of course major personality), so hope you enjoy this post!

MangoWhirl Takes Over Frootibeauty

Hello FrootiBelles!

My names MW and I'm the owner of MangoWhirl! You might have seen my face pop up on Safiyah's instagram as we seem to roam it hashtagging ourselves the dynamic duo that is #FROOTIWHIRL! Because, we are that cool.

I was asked forced pressured nagged into doing a blogpost for Safiyah for a while now.  So, when I got a lovely package through the door from the Beauty, herself - how could I refuse?

Safiyah being the artistic individual that she is - analysed my make up looks and she decided I love my neutral shades (she wasn't wrong), so when I opened the package and in it was the delightful 'Wild about Beauty - Safari Nights Palette' - I was incredibly excited.

The packaging is the usual deep purple cardboard box and the palette itself is compact and sleek in the same deep purple. Looking great as they do!

Having a closer look at the back of the palette, I could see it consisted of products for the eyes, lip and cheeks - how great is that? Perfect for an event in the evening after work - you've got everything in one palette, which you can throw into your handbag. By doing some further research into the palette, I learnt the formula for the products were enriched with Aloe Vera, Vitamins A, C and E! It appears you can't go wrong with this palette! You'll look fantastic AND your skin will be thankful! What I also love about this palette is that there is a large mirror, which again is perfect for on the go!

Opening the palette you are greeted with two powder eyeshadows, two creme eyeshadows, a multi-purpose tint, a lip gloss, highlighter and blush! I've recently discovered creme products and I believe they give that more natural/flushed look (I know Safiyah disagrees with this and she loves her powder based products, but whatever) so, I was excited to try out the creme based products! Which, by the way, when I was swatching, applied so smoothly onto my skin - was surprisingly happy about that! As you can see the palette is composed of neutral, earthy summery colours, which will give you that sun-kissed look whenever you want.

Some colours aren't visible on my NC35 skintone, but I`m sure with heavier application it could, but it would definitely be an ideal palette for someone who likes their neutral shades and has fair skin. My favourite products from the palette are definitely the blusher in Kitty, the creme eyeshadow in Buster and the powder eyeshadow in Polly!

Have a look at my FOTD I did with this palette!

Recommend it to a friend?

Yes, I think its a fantastic product and I cannot wait to experiment with other combinations from this palette. I think it would make a great gift for a friend. In fact, I`m loving the shades from the Divine Nights Palette, as well - might have to invest in that!

Where can you buy this?

To my knowledge this releases mid-March, which is around now - so have a look on their website or check out Debenhams or House of Fraser! The House of Fraser on Oxford Street is the only stockist in London.

I know Safiyah rates her products with lipsticks, so I'm going to rate mine with mangoes!

And, I rate this palette 4/5 mangoes!

Hope you enjoyed my post as much as I did writing it up!
