Frontline Source Group – temporary staffing and direct hire firm – is looking for an IT Systems Manager for our Central Austin, TX client on a direct hire basis.
Job Summary:
The IT Manager will support the IT infrastructure & provide resolution to various IT issues. This includes managing the desktop management function and day to day requests that are submitted in order to spot trends, align resources, and improve efficiency. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, security, and troubleshooting of networking and server-based systems/platforms.
The IT Manager will interface with other members of the global IT group and development resources in order to meet client and LOB expectations for IT infrastructure. The IT Manager will be the key person responsible for managing the infrastructure servers, Local Area network and associated resources of the Contract Center. (ACD, Cisco Routers, LAN switches, Desktops, Application server infrastructure).
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain and manage internal network infrastructure
General help desk support
Overall troubleshooting for all PC’s/Servers within the company
Oversee our Baltimore Studio
Work closely with Glasgow and Bangalore Technology teams
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field is preferred or equivalent experience
3-5 years’ experience in technical support/call center environment with managerial responsibility
Experience in the gaming industry preferred
Knowledge and understanding of Windows Operating Systems.
Knowledge and understanding of ActiveDirectory,DHCP and DNS
Knowledge and understanding of Cisco IOS
Knowledge and understanding of Linux
Ability to source parts and build a PC
Knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP network protocol
Flexibility to work various hours and overtime, as needed
Must be able to work independently and have excellent self- management and communication skills
