The Granada Theater is screening the first two episodes of the new season of Girls tonight, but reservations for that filled up before the break. Us unluckies will have to wait another week for the shenanigans of Hannah and co.

It’s Fort Worth’s turn to host Shen Yun, the Chinese performing arts company that performed at the Winspear last week. They draw on 5,000 years of tradition and legend to delight with a combination of classical and ethnic dance, ancient instruments, and digitally animated backdrops. It’s really beautiful stuff. And it’s indoors, so you can’t really beat that this evening. Try Bird Cafe, restaurateur Shannon Wynne’s latest concept,  for dinner. If you like Meddlesome Moth, it’s a good bet you’ll like this place.

Back over on Greenville, Sundown at the Granada has spent some time prepping a new menu that’s apparently 70 percent organic and 99 percent non-GMO. There’s all sorts of new dishes, such as a vegan sushi roll and a quinoa stir fry. Have a healthy post-holiday meal and maybe a well-deserved post-work drink. If you stick around late, there’s live music from Kapow, a roots/rock/reggae trio, starting at 11 p.m.
