I’m not ready for fall. I feel like here in Connecticut, we get one, maybe two?, months of summer and that’s IT. Really, I should probably just look into relocating because I live and breathe all things summer. The beach is my happy place, and I would be fully content with hazy, hot, and humid 365 days a year. Sadly, I married a man who is the complete opposite (clearly love is blind because it blinded me from this realization). He hates hot, I love hot. He hates the beach, I love the beach. Really, this should’ve been a deal breaker.
Anyways, supposeeeeeeeeee I will start shopping for fall clothing, since its ALL in the stores now. You know, next to the Christmas trees! And while I’m still in denial, I do love this aztec sweater from Recycled Consign & Design. I chose to wear it with some jean shorts to help ease me into the fall transition. I do enjoy the start of fair season, and I feel like this could be perfect to wear to one of the local fairs in the evening if it’s a little cooler than my liking. I’m really excited to take Landon to see the animals, and to stuff my face with loaded bake potatoes, funnel cakes, and apple crisp! So I guess that’s one positive, right?
Are you ready for fall? Or are you like me and want summer to stay forever?!
