There is plenty of fun set for this weekend in Frisco. Take your pick from all that’s happening.

The annual Frisco Fire Safety Town Fall Festival will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. Children are invited to wear costumes and go trick-or-treating in the mini town. Fire clowns and other family activities will also be available. Admission is free. A free shuttle will operate from the Frisco Athletic Center. Click here to learn more.

Stonebriar Community Church will hold a fall festival from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the church, 4801 Legendary Drive. Activities include carnival games, bounce houses, balloon animals, a climbing wall, bake walks, face painting and live entertainment. Admission is free. Click here to learn more.

The third annual Trick or Treat the Square will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday in Frisco Square. Families are invited to wear their costumes and trick or treat at the restaurants, shops and businesses in Frisco Square. The event also includes a petting zoo, a not so spooky spook house, face painting, a balloon twister and horse drawn wagon rides around the plaza. Click here for a list of participating businesses.

The 14th annual Gary Burns Fun Run includes a 5K certified race and one-mile fun run/walk at Toyota Stadium. Proceeds benefit the Frisco Education Foundation and the Gary Burns Memorial Scholarship Fund, which honors the life and work of Frisco Assistant Fire Chief Gary Burns. Registration opens at 7 a.m. Saturday. The third annual Shawnee Trail Cowboy Day is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Frisco Heritage Center, 6455 Page St. The event includes gunslinger re-enactment, old-fashioned photo booth, pony rides, armadillo races, storytelling with the school marm in the one-room school house, stagecoach rides, petting zoo, activities for kids, pioneer re-enactors doing spinning and corn grinding, blacksmiths, whittlers, quilters, and leather working craftsman. The third annual Guns and Hoses Foundation of North Texas Football Championship is at 6 p.m. Saturday at Toyota Stadium. A free, family-friendly tailgate party starts at 1 p.m. in the gold parking lot at Toyota Stadium. The nonprofit Guns and Hoses Foundation of North Texas provides financial support to the families of police and firefighters who are killed in the line of duty. This is the last weekend for the Frisco Area Children Theater performances of Attack of the Zombies. Shows are at 7 p.m. today and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Black Box Theater at the Frisco Discovery Center. Doors open 30 minutes before showtime. Click here to learn more.

The nonprofit Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue will host a Bull-O-Ween event from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Frisco Discovery Center. The event includes vendors, games, a raffle and a costume contest. Admission is $10.

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County will hold its 21st annual Teddy Bear Ride on Sunday. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. Sunday. The ride leaves from IKEA Dallas in Frisco at 9:45 a.m. and ends at Quaker Steak and Lube in Plano, where there will be live music, food and other festivities.
