Another Way To Add Text Before The Comments Section In Google Blogger

This is another comment from blackdove from this post. It’s strange that it’s not working for you as the method described in this post works on all my Google Blogger blogs and they’re all using custom-made themes and the Disqus commenting system.

Anyway, here’s another method you can try. Maybe this one will work. Here’s what to do:

First, make sure to backup your blog’s theme, so in case anything goes wrong, you can revert the changes you’ve made.

Now, go to one of the posts on your blog. Scroll down to the bottom then right-click on the last element that shows up before the Disqus comments section. This could be the tags list or the social media sharing buttons or even the related posts section. This depends on the theme you’re using.

So, right-click on this element and choose “Inspect” or “Inspect element” (the wording depends on the internet browser that you’re using). Use this to find the class name of the element in question.

Again, this depends on the theme you’re using. For example, the class name could be “post-footer.” You can see something that looks like this:

The end of the codes for that element is marked by “

,” so put your comment guidelines text right after that piece of code. Just writing the text as-is should work. But you can also enclose it in paragraph (

) tags.

Save the changes you made then check out a post in your blog to see if the text shows up. Hope this one works :-). If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
