Calling all artists in the Central Valley:

The 13th Annual Muse Contest is now open by The Rogue Festival in Fresno, California.  Each year a Muse is selected to be the “face of the festival”.  All visual artists are encouraged to enter any two-dimensional representation of a Muse.  A Muse (noun) is defined as a person — especially a woman — who is a source of artistic inspiration.  In mythology, the Muses were nine goddesses who symbolized the arts and sciences. Today, a muse is a person who serves as an artist’s inspiration. Writers, painters, musicians, and other artists have muses.  On this note, the Rogue Festival is asking local artists to submit a Muse to represent the Rogue Festival and the artistic energy that is created before and during The Rogue Festival.  Artists are encouraged to include their signature in the artwork.

Any medium of art may be used, but final submissions are required to be submitted in 2D, digital format as noted below.
