The Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Munich is Kempinski’s oldest property

Kempinski Hotels announced that it plans to open a new property in Havana, Cuba in the second quarter of this year. The Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski La Habana will be the luxury hotel company’s first property in the island nation.

The hotel will be located in the historic Manzana de Gómez building, located in the center of Old Havana. The property will have 246 guestrooms and suites, ranging in size from 430 to 1,614 square feet (40 to 150 square meters).

The hotel will offer a rooftop pool and terrace. In addition, a spa will be located on the premises.

Dining venues on the property include three restaurants as well as a lobby bar. The hotel will also have a business center and a cigar lounge.

Founded in Berlin in 1897, Kempinski Hotels is the world’s oldest luxury hotel group. It currently operates 75 hotels across the globe.
