Lufthansa announced that Vereinigung Cockpit, the union representing the airline’s 5,400 pilots, will stage another strike Thursday. The strike, which will last from 12:01 a.m. until 11:59 p.m., is a continuation of a strike that will be carried out by the union on Wednesday over wage disputes.

Lufthansa said that it cancelled 912 flights, including 82 intercontinental ones, for Thursday. The carrier said that the additional cancellations will affect approximately 115,000 passengers, with over 215,000 passengers affected over the two-day period.

Wednesday’s strike already forced Lufthansa to cancel 876 flights, including 51 long-haul flights, seven of which were to the United States, which is currently experiencing its heaviest travel period of the year due to the Thanksgiving holiday. The carrier set up around 400 cots in the airport for affected passengers.

The carrier said that Lufthansa Group airlines Eurowings, Germanwings, Swiss International Air Lines, Austrian Airlines, Air Dolomiti, and Brussels Airlines flights will not be affected by the Thursday strike.
