American Airlines’ new and old livery
American Airlines announced it will launch new service between Dallas/Fort Worth and Shanghai on June 11. The new service will be operated as part of American’s joint business agreement with Japan Airlines.
Flights will depart Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport at 10:55 a.m. and arrive at Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 2:55 p.m. the next day. Flights from Shanghai to Dallas/Fort Worth will depart at 4:50 p.m. and arrive at 6:10 p.m.
The service will be operated using Boeing 777-200 aircraft, equipped with 16 seats in first class, 37 seats in business class, and 194 seats in economy class. Seats in first class will be lie-flat, with a width of 30”.
Passengers can purchase tickets for the new service beginning February 2. Currently, American also offers service to Shanghai from Los Angeles and Chicago.
