American Airlines checkin at JFK

American Airlines announced the beginning of a codeshare agreement with Seaborne Airlines.  Under the agreement, American is allowed to place its code on Seaborne flights between San Juan, Puerto Rico, and six destinations in the Caribbean.

From San Juan, American Airlines is able to place its code on Seaborne flights to: Dominica, a small country island between Guadeloupe and Martinique; Fort-de-France, Martinique; Pointe-a-Pitre, Guadeloupe; Tortola, British Virgin Islands; Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands; and Vieques; Puerto Rico.  American Airlines AAdvantage members will be able to earn miles on the codeshare flights.

Passengers can book tickets on the new codeshare flights for travel beginning June 27, 2013.

Seaborne Airlines is based in St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands.  It was established in 1992, and operates both land and seaplane services.
