Miss Tillie has had quite the busy few months!!! After spending time working with trainers in sunny Southern California, this cutie took her charm school lessons on a road trip with her new foster mom, to Nebraska!!! Now she is finally ready to move on to her forever home.
Tillie is one of those dogs who will always need a strong leader. While she currently lives with dogs in the home, she would thrive as your only canine companion. And why not! She has worked so hard to deserve all of your time and attention!
Tillie is mostly calm in the house, but since she is part Boston terrier, that side of her absolutely LOVES going for walks. Are you looking for a walking companion?? Then Tillie is your girl! Her forever home will need to commit to giving her daily walks. Her foster mom reports that she gets very excited and dances around the house and runs back and forth between her and the door when she sees the leash and knows it’s time for a walk.
Tillie is very snuggly, loves to sleep in bed and always wants to be touching her human.
Her charm school manners have made her be the perfect house guest. She is housebroken and never destroys anything. She is a great dog and would make someone a wonderful companion.
Tillie has one major personality issue:she HATES strange dogs. She needs someone that is ultra aware and will be able to handle her aggression towards other dogs while on walks. She will only be placed in a home with a privacy fence, otherwise she will try to attack another dog through an open slatted or chain link fence. She would do fine in an apartment as long as her owners are aware where other dogs are at all times when taking her out to potty and on walks.
She can live with other dogs if introduced properly (preferably not more than one other) New owner must be willing to work with foster mom on introducing the dogs before adoption takes place.
Since Tillie has come such a long way with her training, both with her professional trainers and her foster mom, we ask that adopters live close to Nebraska so that they can continue working with her foster mom on her manners.
