Alongwith these feature, Kernel for Novell GroupWise to MBOX offers multiple migration modes. Launch the application and the software asks to choose between single mailbox migration and multiple mailbox migration.
Single Mailbox Migration basically migrates one GroupWise mailbox into MBOX format but provides several modes to connect to the GroupWise Server and extract mailbox contents. It provides three different connectivity modes/options:
Default Mode: Choosing this mode simply connects to the currently opened mailbox in the Novell GroupWise client for migration.
Login Mode:Allows specifying login credentials and migrating the concerned mailbox contents. It has three sub-modes under it:
Online Mode: Connect to any mailbox by specifying User Id, Password, IP Address and Port number information and migrate.
Caching Mode: Migrate a caching mailbox by specifying its User Id, Password and the caching mailbox path.
Remote Mode: This mode allows connecting to a remote mailbox. Just provide the remote mailbox path where the mailbox copy is saved and specify password if any.
Command Line Mode: This option helps you to access GroupWise mailbox without opening or accessing GroupWise.exe. Just type the path in Command Line mode and access that account for migration.
Multiple Mailbox Migration offers the flexibility to migrate unlimited GroupWise mailboxes at a time. Multiple migration can be carries out through the creation of a NUCON batch file.
Lepide provides two executable software files for this application. Use the Kernel for Novell GroupWise to MBOX Batch File Creator module to create a NUCON batch file. Simply include GroupWise mailbox details of all your GroupWise mailboxes that you wish to migrate. This file can be created either by manually entering all these details in the software through an ‘Add Record’ process or by entering all details in an Excel file and then importing that file into the batch file creator software.
Select the batch file and all required items which are to be migrated. The software automatically moves each and every detail from all included mailboxes into MBOX.
