Question by NorthernCaliforniaGal: Favorite group games for of elementary-aged kids?
I’m a teacher, but I’ve worked primarily with teenagers. I’ve applied for a job at a center where I’d be working with elementary kids in grades K-5, and part of the interview process is to hang out with the kids for a day and teach them an age-appropriate, 10-15 minute game. I’m familiar with a lot of the traditional games (Duck-Duck-Goose, Indian Chief, etc.), but want something a little more creative, that the kids won’t already know how to play. I really want something that the kids will LOVE and that is, of course, safe and appropriate for all ages 5-12. Any ideas?
