Question by AnaM.910: Will I lose weight doing hot yoga?
I just started doing it and I was wondering if I do weights 3x a week with my personal trainer and did hot yoga 5x a week if that was enough to lose weight. Do I need anymore cardio?

The best approach is to lose weight gradually and for good. Yoga offers a good solution to this problem. Yoga tones the body in a uniformed manner, unlike any ” weight loss program” which claims to decrease your butts by this much inches and waist by this much, leading to side effects. Yoga can be practiced at any age to keep the body supple.

What an excellent DVD. Clear, safe, precise dialogue which anyone can follow and scale down to their own needs. Overall this is an excellent yoga practice in general which works out all areas of the body. It also incorporates the most important aspect of breathing with the movement. You can't go wrong with this DVD.

Not at all good for beginners!!! There was little to no direction on poses - and as I ve come to learn, Hot Yoga is intense and needs to be slowly done (like any other exercise discipline). Also, the "chart" included needed a magnifying glass to see and did little in the way of explaining! I also purchased The Barkan Method and found this much better!
