The Central Reserve Police Force came into existence as Crown Representative’s Police on 27th July 1939. It became the Central Reserve Police Force on enactment of the CRPF Act on 28th December 1949. It has completed 74 years of glorious history.

Qualification : For Sub-Inspector : Passed 12th/ Intermediate or its equivalent and General Nursing & Mid-wife/ Diploma in concerned recognized by Central or State Council.
For Assistant Sub-Inspector : Passed 12th/ Intermediate or its equivalent and two years Diploma/ Degree in concerned trade from a recognised Board/ Institute..
For Head Constable : Passed 10th/ Matriculation with science as a subject or its equivalent from a recognized board/ university and Diploma in relevant Trade.
For Constable : Passed 10th/ Matriculation with two years experience in relevant field.

Age Limit : For Sub-Inspector : 30 Years. As on 23.03.2016.
For Assistant Sub-Inspector & Head Constable : 20 to 25 Years. As on 01.08.2015.
For Constable : 18 to 23 Years. As on 01.08.2015.
Age relaxation is as per Govt. norms.
Application Fee : Candidates belonging to General/OBC have to pay Rs. 100/- (for Group “B”) & Rs. 50/- (for Group “C”) through SBI in the form of Challan, Net Banking any Bank, Credit/Debit Card. No application fee is required to be paid by SC/ST candidates, Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates.
