If you’re in India here is another great way to make free calls.
Facebook just announced voice calling support in India for its app Facebook Messenger. What this means is that Facebook users in India now can make voice calls to anyone on their Facebook Messenger friends list for free!
This free calling feature is now available on both Android and iOS devices. Users will notice a “Free Call” option in the chat window’s menu on Androids and an “I” button on iPhones.
To make a call on Android devices, select a friend and choose the “Free Call” option by hitting the menu button I just mentioned. On iPhone you select a friend from your contact list and then tap the 3-dot menu icon on the upper right corner. It displays “Call” and that will start your free call.
Incoming calls on Android show up like normal phone calls, and incoming calls on iPhone will show up by a push notification.
Only users who have the latest version of Facebook/Facebook Messenger installed on their phone will be able to use the free call function. This service is not available on the web.
