It is a surprisingly economical vehicle to run for its size! The current mileage is 159,600 which is below average for this type of vehicle in its age. It is in good condition for its age, with both MoT and Tax up to May 2013.
Bought 3years ago with the genuine intention of refurbishing and upgrading it to a full spec touring camper van, for using for travelling on our active hillwalking and mountaineering activities across the UK and Europe. Unfortunately work commitments did not permit opportunity to complete the project, and now change in circumstances sadly dictates the requirement to sell it. It has been used daily for commuting; and regular weekend visits to the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains, & Cambrian Mountains in Wales.
There is lots of history, receipts, etc with the vehicle.
It very comfortably and spaciously sits 6 passengers with lots of leg room and head-space for long distance travel. It not a fast vehicle, but comfortably cruises for long distances around 65mph. Also, the vehicle has blinds to windows, and an electronic fold-down rear seat to make a comfortable "double bed", with mood lighting above for a relaxing rest on long excursions.
Reasonably priced spare parts are easily obtained through US Automotive Ltd in Bedford, and majority of experienced mechanics seem to be able to work on it without issues. The full workshop manual is with the vehicle.
Even though the vehicle may drive well look in good condition, please be advised that this is a 20+ year old vehicle, and does require maintenance, upkeep, and refurbishment to bring it up to the exceptional standard we originally set out to achieve. It will require some commitment, love, care, and TLC from the new owner; which will produce an exceptionally stylish and reliable "A-Team" style custom touring day van ideal for exploring the great outdoors across the UK and Europe :)
