Looking Forward, Giving Back 2016

Empowering Youth Through Photography

About First Exposures:

First Exposures makes a major long-term difference in the lives of high-need, underserved San Francisco Bay Area youth by providing a venue for them to enhance their self-confidence, develop their creativity, and gain a passion for learning. Each student is matched with a photographer who provides individualized guidance and support. Photography is the catalyst by which our students acquire vital life skills, and it is the vehicle through which we deepen their academic, creative and developmental experiences. Since the program’s founding in 1993, over 90 percent of our students have gone on to pursue a college education.

Give young people cameras, open their eyes, and let the future unfold!
