Meanwhile, the chance for rain is looking ‘high’ on Monday with temperatures only reaching ~ 70°.

This could even be cooler due to the wrap-around showers and blanket of cloud cover. We will continue this cool trend on Tuesday with highs in the low 70s.

A more transitional season (spring-like) pattern will settle into the eastern third of the US through the entire week. This high amplitude jet stream pattern will create a much cooler week as well as the slim chances of a spot ‘diurnally-driven’ shower nearly every day.

Overall, Tuesday through Friday will be dry though. Highs will be starting in the lower 70s on Tuesday and hovering in the upper 70s Wednesday through Friday. Waterspouts cannot be ruled out over Lake Erie on Monday.
