(October 14, 2015)- Courtney Larson was performing a self breast exam when she discovered a suspicious lump. It was later revealed that Larson had breast cancer.
After undergoing surgery to remove the cancerous lump, Larson went through 6 rounds of chemo and 30 rounds of radiation treatment. Thanks to Community Health Network's expedient care and Larson's strength, she is cancer free.
Larson is now giving back to help other women who may be uninsured/under-insured and provide them with a chance to fight breast cancer. A golf event called "Swinging FORE a Cause" was organized with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the women receiving treatment for breast cancer.
