ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – It’s a way for former Rams fans to still watch a sport they enjoy.
Hot Shots has decided to create a “home” location for different NFL teams at all of its St. Louis area locations.
The O’Fallon, Illinois location will be a place for Bears fans to see their team play.
“We’ll have Bears-themed menu items, giveaways, prizes, Bears themed merchandise, and Bears on all the NFL TVs,” said Hot Shots Marketing Director Justin Boyd.
Bears fans watching Thursday’s preseason game said they’ve already won over some former Rams fans.
“I’ve turned a few of my friends who were huge Rams fans into following the Bears,” said one fan.
Some fans said they miss having football in St. Louis, but they don’t miss the Rams.
“It was nice to be able to go to a local game and see other teams, not necessarily my team,” said one former Rams fan.
“Just because Stan took his lackluster football team out to L.A. doesn’t mean that we should be deprived of football in St. Louis,” said Boyd. “The way that they kind of turned their back on St .Louis sports fans, we look to basically make a new home team at every location.”
