ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)– A private jet company is having its grand opening at Lambert Airport.
Jet Linx St. Louis has a fleet of airplanes to offer private jet service for its clients.
The company has spent more than $2 million to get up and running and to renovate two vacant Missouri Air National Guard facilities.
At the new terminal, clients are offered a private gate entrance, a lounge and bar and a boardroom.
Jet Linx says it offers a convenient service for business people to travel to other parts of the country easier than flying commercial.
Jet Linx says an average one day business trip from St. Louis to Chicago with several passengers may cost $5,000, but the company says the cost per person is offset by saving time and increasing productivity.
