ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)– They’re putting the finishing touches on the Annual Festival of Nations in Tower Grove Park Friday night.
For the past 23 years, Tower Grove has been turned into a world market of music and food from different cultures. This weekend is no exception.
From Spanish flamenco to a Vietnamese lion dance or a Celtic Village, you’ll find a little bit of everything here this weekend.
More than 75 ethnicities will be giving this city a multiethnic celebration.
They’re prepping in Tower Grove Park to take visitors on a trip around the world and you won’t need a passport.
Friday tents were going up and there were last minute touches to this park on the city’s south side.
The Annual Festival of Nations will fill up the park Saturday and Sunday.
Friday afternoon the four stages were standing by for the ethnic artists that will be singing and dancing here this weekend.
The International Institute presents this festival that brings a multi ethnic opportunity to the Midwest.
And with 40 food booths to choose from, organizers say this weekend is the chance to try something you’ve never had before.
