SALT LAKE CITY -- Hundreds of people marched in Salt Lake City Saturday from Washington Square to the Utah State Capitol in a protest of Donald Trump's presidency.

A Facebook event page for "Salt Lake City Protests Trump" stated speeches began at 1 p.m., and the crowd began marching toward the State Capitol around 2:25 p.m.

Video shows crowds marching with signs ranging from a Rosie The Riveteer declaring "We can do it!" to other banners stating "Not My President", "Trump You're Fired" and "Stronger Together."

The event page states, "We the people want our voices heard. We will not have Trump as our president....This is a peaceful protest and we will be marching on the sidewalk." The group also posted a map of their planned route.

The crowd filled State Street during their march.

The march is the latest in a series of protests that have occurred since Donald Trump won the presidential election early Wednesday morning. A rally was held at Washington Square Wednesday night, about 500 marched in the streets of downtown Salt Lake City before going to the Capitol Thursday night, and on Friday hundreds of high school students walked out of class in protest.
