Avantophiles take note. We’ve found something that should be of interest in the form of an Audi Exclusive Imola Yellow A4 S line Avant up for sale in Illinois. Even better, it looks quite well maintained. Here’s the rundown.
This was a special order by the original owner. According to Audi, there are only 78 Imola Yellow A4 B7 (2005.5-2008) models in the world. Of those, there are only 7 avants (wagons)!
I am the second owner. I purchased it 9-2012 to replace my aging 2001 BMW 540iT wagon. I bought my wife a slightly used 2011 BMW X5-M from Moterwerks BMW in Minneapolis and while we were there, I saw this out of the corner of my eye.
It was a trade on a new 2012 BMW 550 GT. It had 47,000 miles and was calling my name as we were signing the papers for the X5-M. Needless to say, we walked away with two cars that day! It now has 59,000 miles.
The only reason I am selling this one of a kind wagon is to buy a 2014 Cadillac CTS-V wagon. I was planning on keeping the Audi for years, but when I found out this was the last year for the CTS-V wagon, I had to have one off the showroom floor.
The Audi now has 59,000 very well maintained miles. I bought it with a bumper to bumper warranty until 9-2016 or 96,000 miles. This is fully transferable to the new owner for $30.00. It is a nationwide warranty with a $50.00 deductible. This warranty cost me $$ but I wanted full coverage after spending $$$ on my BMW wagon.
The Audi had a original sticker price of $50,685. It has the following options:
1) Imola Yellow paint & Ebony leather interior
2) S-line package (wheels, suspension, bumpers, body)
3) Audi Navigation Plus (DVD based)
4) Technology package (Adaptive Bixenons, Bluetooth)
5) Premium package (Homelink, heated seats front and rear, memory seats, rain sensing wipers)
6) Audi package (Bose, XM, 6 disc cd changer, 2 SD slot)
7) Power glass sunroof
8) Cold weather package
9) Headlight washers
10) Rear parktronic
11) Leather seating surfaces
12) Full size 18 inch spare
13) Stainless steel roof rack
14) Rear spoiler
15) Tire pressure monitoring system
This Avant had every option you could order on a A4 except the rear side sunshades.
I added a few modifications when I purchased it:
1) 18×8.5 Audi R8 Replica wheels with Michelin Pilot sports tires (90% tread)- summer set
2) 18×8 BBS Replica wheels with Michelin Arctic Alpin snow tires (80% tread) – winter set
3) Eibach Pro kit lowering springs with new Audi S-line shocks
4) Custom Cat-back exhaust with 3 inch stainless tips (sounds great, no drone)
5) Stainless roof rack cross bars with locking mechanism
6) Audi OEM S-line all weather mats and rear cargo mat
7) 5mm spacers for rear wheels- only used with summer set
I also performed some maintenance and preventive maintenance:
1) New air and cabin filters
2) New spark plugs
3) New front upper and lower control arms
4) New Audi OEM pads and rotors Front and Rear
5) New front tie rod ends
6) De-carbon of the engine at 50,000 miles
7) New fuel filter
8) Synthetic oil changes every 5,000 miles
9) New OEM xenon bulbs for headlights
10) New Battery
I love this car and it turns heads everywhere! It has been my daily driver for the last 1.5 years and averages 21-22 mpg!
If you do not like attention, this is not the car for you. I have people ask me about it when I put gas, drive the the grocery store, etc.
I have been asked if it is a S4 or RS4 wagon numerous times. It gives you the look of a S4/RS4 with the reliability of the 3.2 liter.

I hate selling the Audi but we have 5 cars and something has to go to make room for the CTS-V wagon. I am a auto enthusiast and all our vehicles get a full detail every 3 months and regular weekly washes.
The Audi is garaged at home and also at my clinic.
You will not find another like this.
