Hello,

We have a Zynq 7045 system running version 3.6 of Linux.  We are looking to upgrade to the latest Version 3.10.

Ideally, I would like to compile the 3.10 uImage, replace the 3.6 uImage with the 3.10 uImage and boot the system.  That unfortunately doesn't work.  The kernel uncompresses, starts to boot, but hangs. See boot log below.

So, a couple of questions:

1. Should I be able to use the same FSBL, device tree and u-boot that I am using successfully for the 3.6 system with the 3.10 kernel.  Is the device tree structure the same between versions?  I assume that since the kernel successfully uncompresses and starts to boot that u-boot is handling the compressed kernel image correctly.

2. If I need to upgrade the FSBL/device tree or u-boot where can I track down the changes between the versions?

3. Is there any documentation available relating to upgrading the kernel?

Thanks in advance.

- Dave
