I feel the same. I think having a lot of dimension options is great, but they can be a big inconvenience for most players. It is also often perceived as a way we (Read: Trion) attempt to force your hand when it comes to purchasing more space. We are totally not that kind of company. The way it works now is simply a side effect of adding a feature that's layered on top of an existing game, nothing more.

There's a bit of disparity in what minions bring back, so far as the box "exclusive" items go--i.e, minions bring back most items, but there's others that don't appear to be on the loot table. With storage being what it is (8 overflowing bank slots on my building alts and 2 guild banks, also overflowing), buying boxes to get stuff the minions already bring me for free for the chance to get the one or two items I actually want isn't really an option. I guess I'm just wondering if they're on the table to be looked at.
So, admittedly I'm still a bit naive in regards to some of the distribution channels for dimension items and which items Faratha specifically didn't want to be handed out via Minions, etc. I'll look into it and see what I can do, but keep in mind that some items are intended to be harder to get than others, etc.

It's just that this issue needs to be a number one priority, or if it just isn't going to happen for whatever reason, please let us know.
So, I've been talking with art about this already and it's very possible. No timetable yet, but I am quite aware how important these are, since they are literally the building blocks of a lot of dimensions. It really pains me to see you have to take entire houses, flip them upside-down and then scale them down just to make a stage... WTF. That's a complete waste of polygons. :hitting-self: At some point in the very near future I'll be asking you guys/gals for a list of new material types (I've already asked about glass, still waiting to hear back) that you really need and any other shapes that you don't have which would be very useful. We need to make sure we ask for the stuff that gets the best bang-for-the-buck in that regard.

The portals are already designed, Margle Palace has them that port us to various places like Chorebug crafting area. I know it will still require loading time to each a specific dimension, but I can say I walked/run/rode to it instead of clicking a button. This nexus is where we can add our NPCs, bankers and vendors and whatever else while having room to grow. And for our dimensions, we can buy or craft doorways/portals to walk back to our nexus. All this without having to click buttons, click buttons to select various dimension and click more buttons (keys) to cast the port spell itself. I really would prefer to walk/run/ride into my dimensions, from a central location. If they use the watery portal designs in Margle Palace, looking at them could reflect an image of the blank dimension or a softly glowing name above the portal or in the portal image itself. The nexus could even host a portal to a random players showcase dimension to visit too. The other direction for this Nexus would be a a central dimension that is more like a minor zone for all players. This would have portals listed by Key name except when you walk/run/hide into a portal it loads your own dimension if you own that key on the dimensional keyring. There would also have to be a separate showcase dimension portal to visit too. Imagine an art museum, with paintings on the walls, all with an image capture of your dimensions, click one and instantly transported to that image location. (Except in my museum, I want to ride into that image to teleport to my dimension. :wink4:) Now open that art museum to everyone, let them use the same zone to transport to their own dimension, each seeing their own artwork of their own dimensions that only they can click on. The person standing next to you does not see an image on the wall if they dont own that particular key.
[COLOR="orange"]Your timing on this idea is impeccable. :wink4: I've actually be talking with Gingers a bit about creating a, "Dimension Hub"- an instance with a large, open main hall/courtyard/foyer that contains a stage off to the side with a showroom displaying new items added to the game. The items on display would change as new items were added to the game, of course. Next to the stage would be a merchant that would give you quick access to the store bought items. Probably at the opposite end of the hall would be an auctioneer, Dream Weaver trainer, workstation and a banker. Each room would be themed (Snow? Sand? Planar? Not sure yet) with a single portal at the end. Using that portal would open a list in your Dimension UI, sorted by that particular theme. A room would be dedicated to the Dimensions with the highest +1 count and so on. Access to the hub would be from the crafting area in all of the major cities. [B][U]>>>None of this is final or is even approved, it's just an idea that we've been riffing on.
