**Update 10** Fido has been sending text messages to targeted customers offering free data promotion. If you are one of the lucky ones you simply have to text "Yes" back to get the free promotion. If you did not get a text message you could try calling in and mention the promotion everyone is getting.
**Update 9** It appears that FIDO is currently doing a promotion to offer free +2gb for 12 months. I have called them about 7 times to get the deal and was rejected. They claimed that because it's a loyalty plan they are unable to apply the promotion. This is FALSE!. I was finally able to get it today on my Loyalty 50 plan. I simiply called in and asked for the bonus. The rep was able to offer it to me. I think YMMV based on your rep. Don't give up !! Keep trying.
**Update 8** The plan is still live as of Aug 6th 2016. To get the plan you will still need to mention the wind competitive plan. One key difference now is that this plan does not come with Spotify anymore.
**Update 7** Confirmed provinces that are offering the plan. BC, AB, ON
**Update 6** If you are able to get the plan please post what province you are from. That way I can consolidate some data for everyone else. Thanks.
**Update 5** It appears most people are able to get the deal now. (see page 10). Mentioning the Wind competitive price match seems to be the key for success.
**Update 4** It has been confirmed that the additional line 10% discount does not apply to BYOB Loyalty plans.
**Update 3** This seems like its working for many members. Success rate is much higher mentioning wind.

People please ask for the "Wind Competitive Price Match" when talking to the agent. They are NOT allowed to mention this plan unless you mention it FIRST! It is their policy.

**Update 2** some members from BC, Alberta and Ontario confirmed they were able to get the deal.
**Update 1** Looks like it's a hit or miss right now depending on your rep.

Fido Customer Loyalty Plan is Back!!! Hot Hot Hot

This is not posted on the FIDO website.
Just like last time this is for existing customers only that has been with FIDO for over 90 days. you have to bring your own phone and can not be in a contract.
This is a nation wide deal according to the Customer Rep.

You best chance of getting the deal is to do start a FIDO live chat (online). Here is a link for your convenience.

Once connected ask the rep for the $45/$50 BYOP Loyalty Pulse plans.
I simply just asked for it. I did not threaten to leave or any other tricks.
If you are eligible it will be a simple process to switch to this new plan.

Just to clear something up for the BlackFriday Plan.
- The BlackFriday Plans were different based on the province you are in. QC had the best deal of $34 (as usual). In Ont and Alberta the same deal was for $49. SK was somewhere in between the QC and Ont deal. Not too sure about the other provinces.
- The claims that the $45 & $50 BYOD deal is the same as the BF deal. This was not a BF deal, it is the same retention plan as this post. All of this information was mashed together in the previous thread which got many people confused. The retention plan was discontinued for a few months. They just re-introduced it recently.
