Hi All,
I received a pamphlet regarding the City of Markham's Water Meter Replacement & Upgrade Program. In the pamphlet it states that, "Under Bylaw Number: 2012-242, it is mandatory for all property owners to participate in the Water Meter Replacement Program." Markham has contracted out a company called "Neptune" to complete the replacement free of charge.
Does anyone have experience with the replacement programs? what can we expect? is it truly mandatory? Did your water bill end up costing you more after the installation?
