Before everyone starts screaming at me to go read other threads related to credit cards, I would like to clarify that

- I have read individual reviews of each of the cards here on RFD

- I have read the Rewards Canada rating for 2014

- I have read some comparisons between aspire travel MC and RBC avion in which they mention briefly about BMO world MC

- Have gone through Greedyrates.ca for their suggestions based on my usage patterns

Problem:

"ME" i.e. Reading so many things by following various links here on RFD, I am "Super confused" and at this point have no sane idea on what to pick.

I currently have an aventura visa infinite (which I shifted from another CIBC card late last year) and found it very limiting and against their advertising. I need to book atleast 8 days in advance which is a challenge for me as I generally book within a week of my travel (I know I should book in advance to get cheaper rates but never get to do it). Awarding of points in not transparent as I can only see total points but cannot see breakdown of transaction level point to check if I am really getting the points multipliers or not. I have to call to their travel center for any travel reservation which is a hit/miss based on time.

Question:

Which card is better now i.e. Aspire travel world MC (recommended by rewards canada/RFD) vs BMO world elite(recommended by some of my friends) vs scotia gold amex(recommended by greedyrates)? I like the option to book on an website and redeem them for points which gives me a lot of flexibility as I generally use corporate discount codes to get good deals on travel and hotels.

I like the 2 points per dollar along with yearly bonus for capital one but I read that there are issues redeeming partially, etc along with bad customer service.

Scotia Gold Amex and BMO world elite seem nice but not sure how they are compared to aspire.

Please help
