There is one (1) Grand Prize package valued at approximately $19,000 available to be won. Ten (10) eligible Grand Prize Finalists (the “Finalists”) will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries received by Contest Closing Date. Each Finalist will be asked to submit either (a) a Photo with accompanying essay not to exceed 200 words or (b) a Video of maximum duration of two (2) minutes on the subject of “Why I/We Want to Take the Ultimate Canadian Road Trip”, referred to as the submission (“Submission”). Eligible Submissions must be received by 5 PM ET June 16 2014 (the “Submission Deadline”). Final judging of Submissions will take place on June 18, 2014 to determine the Grand Prize Winner as described under “Judging of Submissions” below. Each eligible Finalist who successfully makes an eligible Submission before the Submission Deadline will be eligible to receive one (1) iPad mini™ 16 GB with Wifi valued at approximately $319 subject to the requirements of these Rules.
The eligible Grand Prize winner will receive their choice of one (1) of three (3) pre-determined Ultimate Canadian Road Trip travel packages each consisting of the following elements:
1. Use of a FRAM® Prestone® branded recreational vehicle (twenty-four or twenty-eight foot model Motorhome) for a maximum of five (5) persons for a two-week excursion in Canada during the period August 1 2014 through August 16 2014.
2. Gas cards with a total value of $2000 CDN.
3. Economy class air travel for five (5) people from the major Canadian international airport closest to the eligible Prize Winner’s residence to the major Canadian international airport closest to the Canadian city from which the selected Canadian Road Trip Travel Package commences. Return economy class airfare for five (5) people from the major Canadian international airport closest to the final destination city of the selected Canadian Road Trip Travel Package to the same airport from which the eligible Prize Winner and guests departed (ie the major Canadian international airport closest to the eligible Prize Winner’s residence).
4. Transfers from airport to hotel on August 1 2014 and transfers from hotel in final destination city to airport for return flight home.
5. Hotel accommodations for five (5) (as specified in the selected Canadian Road Trip Travel Package) in a standard hotel room based on double occupancy.
6. Spending money for the Grand Prize winner only of $500 per day (maximum $7000 CDN).
7. Entertainment equipment including (select sports equipment, Xbox One, select video games and one HD television) valued at approximately $3000 CDN.
8. One (1) Go Pro Camera valued at approximately $400 CDN.
9. One (1) 16 GB iPad Air® with Wifi/cellular (connects to the Internet over Wifi and mobile networks) plus data plan for duration of Grand Prize trip valued at approximately $649 CDN.
The eligible Grand Prize winner must be available to travel during the period August 1 to August 16 2014 (hereinafter referred to as the “Specified Travel Period”) with his/her guest(s) subject to availability. Under no circumstances, will the Specified Travel Period be extended to a date commencing before August 1 2014 or ending after August 16 2014. The eligible Grand Prize winner may choose one (1) Canadian Road Trip Travel Package from the following three (3) pre-selected itineraries including:
