Well timhare I took your suggestion and it still would not work for sbcglobal.net (att.yahoo.com)
So I tried it with Gmail and it worked just fine with these settings:
From = me
To = an email address
Subject = Email Test
Message = Whatever
SMTP Server = smtp.googlemail.com
Port = 465
User Name = my email address
User Password = my password
CHECKBOX = SSL/TLS Secure is set to TRUE
CHECKBOX = Authentication is set to TRUE
File attachment also worked
These are the settings I tried it with att.yahoo.com that won't work:

Port = 465 User Name = my email address
User Password = my password

CHECKBOX = Authentication is set to TRUE
Any ideas why it would work for Gmail and not sbcglobal.net / att.yahoo.com ?
