The prize:

The winner and a guest will join the Conrad Algarve’s Gourmet Culinary Extravaganza, a three-day gathering of 11 Michelin-starred chefs hosted by Heinz Beck, at this sumptuous five-star hotel. The prize includes dinner for two at the main event, the Underground Culinary Extravaganza, on October 30, 2016, as well as three nights’ B&B accommodation, from October 29 to November 1, and transfers. If the winner can’t make these dates, the Conrad is offering a three-night stay between October 1, 2016 and January 31, 2017, excluding public holidays, and subject to availability.

Flights are courtesy of Monarch, which flies direct to Faro from Birmingham, Manchester, Luton and Gatwick.

Extra terms and conditions apply:

1. If the winner cannot make the Gourmet Culinary Extravaganza, the Conrad Algarve is offering a three night stay for two between October 1 2016 and January 31, 2017 excluding public holidays, and subject to availability. This includes breakfast and one dinner for two (excluding drinks) at Gusto, the hotel's fine-dining restaurant, as well as airport transfers in Portugal.

2. The prize also includes return flights to Faro from Birmingham, Manchester, Luton or Gatwick with Monarch, which are valid between October 1, 2016 and January 31, 2017, excluding public holidays and subject to availability. Flights are offered in a promotional class and may not be available on all dates on all flights during this period.

3. One (1) piece of hold luggage per person is included in each prize and will be checked in free of charge. Up to 10kg of hand baggage may be taken into the cabin per person in a bag no bigger than 56 x 40 x 25cm, free of charge. 4. The winner is responsible for all expenses and arrangements (such as but not limited to flight extras, in-flight meals, pre-allocated seats and transportation to and from the departing airport) not specifically included in the prize.

5. If Monarch fails to comply with this Agreement, Monarch is responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of Monarch’s breach of this Agreement, or of Monarch’s negligence, or of Monarch’s fraud. However, Monarch is not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if they were an obvious consequence of Monarch’s breach or if they were contemplated by both the winner and Monarch at the time the parties entered into this Agreement. Prize winners statutory rights are not affected.

6. The prize may not be re-presented as a prize for any other prize draw or similar event.

7. Compensation under Regulation 261/2004, Montreal Convention and any other applicable law is strictly excluded irrespective of the cause.

8. Prize winners must ensure that they have the correct travel documentation and obtain the relevant Visas. Such travel documentation is at the sole expense of the Winner. Failure to be granted a Visa and or have the necessary travel documentation will result in the Prize Winner forfeiting their prize.
