EDIT: I did my analysis on the second trailer now. Thanks to IncredibleLuigi for letting me know about this page. Here are my thoughts.
I tried analyzing both trailers as much as I could, made some conclusions, and came up with these things I'm mostly sure will be shown at Apex 2015 :
- Isaac (Golden Sun) will be playable as seen in the trailer. They will show some gameplay and his own and unique traits as a characters. I believe he will be a pretty interesting character to see using both psynergy and weapons to fight, for some reason I think he'll have some bad air game, but a nice recovery. A move that he will have for sure, is the Growth psynergy (the one shown in the first McLeodGaming direct.
-Some characters will have a resprite, finally. This includes (possibilities) Peach, Sonic, Lloyd, Wario, and Ness.
-New Chibi-Robo! stage (the one shown in the trailer.) My guess on its name is The Living Room.
[-New Golden Sun stage. The jungle first shown in the direct announcement.]
-New Galaxy Tours will be shown. One is the Starship shown in the announcement.
-Unknown purple-ish hallucination stage, and purple brick wall stage. Only the backgrounds were shown in the direct announcement.
-Home-Run Contest mode (stage hasn't been shown yet, they used The Living Room as a place holder/teaser.)
-Replays.
Other things that will be shown :
*Note these are just my predictions on what could be revealed.
-3 veteran characters : Pit, Bowser, and Rosalina & Luma.
-1 more newcomer. My guesses are Skull Kid (The Legend of Zelda), or another Nintendo game character (Ray MK III from Custom Robo or Andy/a character from Advance Wars.)
-New stages! (5-6).
-Tons of new items! (basic items, pokeballs, assist trophies.)
-Classic Mode. Even though the devs might not have had the enough time, they might just showcase this mode.
-A couple of unlockable features.
-New events (5-10).
-Target Smash! stage 4.
-More features. (The last minute surprises. Could be any of the above, or something else. Whatever to keep us in the hype.)
-Some trolling over the direct. They have to keep Sakurai's unconditional trolling going somewhere.
-And the...
Release date for the new version!
Opinions anyone? I just hope I get some of these right, cause I'm really looking for playing as Pit already, and getting Skull Kid as a newcomer.

Sorry to rain on your parade dude but that's the battlefield. If you pause the video, you can see closely that there is a smash symbol followed by a support beam and a cone on the bottom.

If you go to training, choose a floaty character, go to the battlefield, set the speed slowly, then go down to the bottom and you will see the same thing.

But remember, things in the demos are subject to change.
